In Deadshot.io, there are currently 6 maps. Factory, Refinery, Snowfall, Forest, Vineyard, and Neo Tokyo.
Name | Description | Image |
---|---|---|
Factory | Factory was added in the initial release and is also the map that is used as the splash screen on the Deadshot client, arguably making this map the most iconic Deadshot map. It is a medium range map, with areas for both closer and longer range fights. See Advanced guide : Factory for more information. | |
Refinery | Refinery was also added in the initial release, and is generally considered a close range map, although it has a couple of medium range areas. See Advanced guide : Refinery for more information. | |
Snowfall | Snowfall was added in the initial release and is the most versatile map, with most of it being medium and long range, it has quite a few close range areas. In addition, this is the only map that has various parkour areas, allowing the player to reach hidden spots to gain a tactical advantage. However, because of this, there are also many bugs that allow the player to reach other areas that are completely not intended. See Bugs/Glitches for more information. See Advanced guide: Snowfall for more information | |
Forest | Forest was added on May 4th, 2023, making it the first map to be added after the initial release. The varied terrain makes this map compatible with close and medium range weapons, but not that many opportunities for longer range fights. This is also the only map with multiple animated textures. | |
Vineyard | Vineyard was added on December 14th, 2023. It is well known for its music, as it is the only music in the game. It is on the larger side, and features an open area in the middle. Mostly a medium to long range map with a few close quaters. | |
Neo Tokyo | Neo Tokyo was added on September 5th 2024 making it the newest map to be added to deadshot. Being compatible with long and medium range weapons with a few areas were close ranged weapons can shine. |
Additional Notes[]
Deadshot.io uses a completely unique map system that is found nowhere else in the IO games space, that allows the developer to load any map into the game. This means that new maps are not only easier to add, but also that the community can create their own maps to eventually get added into the game.
Because of this, expect new maps in the coming updates!
